Why We Created Linksman Studios: A New Approach to Golf Storytelling
The story behind Linksman Studios and our mission to bring golf courses, clubs, and the people who shape the game to life through photography, filmmaking, and visual storytelling.
Golf has always been about more than the game itself.
It's about the places we play, the people we meet, the traditions we preserve, and the stories that unfold along the way. Every golf course has a history. Every club has a personality. And behind every great golf experience are people whose passion and dedication often go unseen.
We believe those stories deserve to be told.
That's why we created Linksman Studios.
Where Our Passion for Golf Meets Our Passion for Storytelling
After spending decades working in sports television, documentary filmmaking, photography, and video production, we've had the opportunity to tell stories across some of the biggest stages in sports.
But golf has always held a special place for us.
There's something different about the game. The beauty of a golf course at sunrise. The architectural details that make each hole unique. The generations of members who have walked the same fairways. The superintendents, architects, caddies, and professionals who dedicate their lives to the sport.
These are the things that make golf special, and they're the things that inspired us to build a company dedicated to capturing them.
Linksman Studios was founded by Blake Berson and Jeremy Frechette with a simple idea: combine our experience in professional sports production with our love of golf to create a visual storytelling studio focused entirely on the game.
Not just to make beautiful images, but to create work that means something.
Every Golf Course Has a Story Worth Telling
No two golf courses are exactly alike.
Some have hosted major championships and witnessed historic moments. Others are hidden gems, shaped by generations of families, members, and employees. Some are undergoing ambitious restorations, while others are working to preserve the vision of legendary golf course architects.
What they all share is a story.
We created Linksman Studios to help golf clubs, course owners, architects, and golf organizations bring those stories to life.
Through golf course photography, cinematic video production, drone cinematography, and documentary filmmaking, we capture the character of a course and the people who make it special.
Because a golf course is more than 18 holes. It's a place with an identity, a history, and a future.
And we believe great storytelling can help preserve that identity for generations to come.

More Than Golf Course Photography and Video Production
The golf industry has no shortage of beautiful imagery. From aerial drone photography to sweeping fairway shots, the game naturally lends itself to incredible visuals.
But we believe there's an opportunity to go further.
A stunning photograph can capture someone's attention. A beautifully produced video can showcase a property's most remarkable features.
A great story can create an emotional connection.
That's the difference we want to bring to golf media production.
Our approach combines the visual beauty of golf with the storytelling techniques we've developed through years of producing documentaries, television features, and branded content.
Whether we're documenting a golf course renovation, producing a film about a club's history, creating a cinematic promotional video, or photographing a course for its website and marketing materials, our goal remains the same: create something authentic, memorable, and lasting.
What We Do at Linksman Studios
Our work is built around five core areas:
Golf Course Photography: Professional golf course photography that captures the architecture, landscape, atmosphere, and natural beauty of each property.
Golf Video Production: Cinematic video content for golf clubs, resorts, course owners, and golf brands, from promotional films to digital and social media campaigns.
Drone Cinematography: Aerial golf course photography and video that showcase course design, routing, landscapes, and architectural details from a unique perspective.
Golf Documentary Films: Original documentary storytelling exploring the history, culture, personalities, architecture, and traditions of the game.
Golf Portraits and Branded Content: Thoughtful visual storytelling featuring the people, brands, and organizations that make golf what it is.
Each project is different, but our philosophy is consistent: understand the story first, then find the most compelling way to tell it.

Built for the People Who Love the Game
We didn't create Linksman Studios simply to become another video production company.
We created it because we saw an opportunity to build something specifically for golf.
A creative partner that understands the difference between a great golf hole and a beautiful landscape. That appreciates the significance of a course restoration. That recognizes the importance of a club's traditions and the people who have spent their lives preserving them.
We want to work with golf clubs, architects, superintendents, resorts, organizations, and brands that share our passion for the game.
Whether it's a private club looking to document its history, a golf course architect showcasing a new design, or a brand looking to connect with golfers through authentic storytelling, we want to help bring that vision to life.
This Is Just the Beginning
Linksman Studios represents the intersection of two things we've spent our lives pursuing: great storytelling and the game of golf.
We're excited about the films we'll make, the courses we'll photograph, the people we'll meet, and the stories we'll discover along the way.
Most of all, we're excited to create work that celebrates everything that makes this game extraordinary.
Because every course has a story.
We're here to tell it.
Welcome to Linksman Studios.
